Resort Policies

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Reservations made greater than six months in advance, and reservations for 3 or more rooms/units are subject to a non-refundable booking fee as follows:
High Season - 25% of accommodation fees including HST
Low Season - 10% of accommodation fees including HST
This fee will be deducted from room charges.

Reservations within six months prior to arrival may cancel without charge 48 hours prior to check in date (4pm on the second day prior to arrival).

Any cancellations without the necessary notice will be subject to full payment.

Failure to arrive for your reservation without cancellation will incur a charge equal to the quoted accommodation fee for the whole reservation.

On arrival, payment for the total reservation accommodation fee will be required during the check-in process. Any extras and sundry charges incurred during your stay will be collected on departure.

Credit card information will be required to be given (and the card will be authenticated) before a reservation can be confirmed.


“Kennel Friendly” Pet Policy

Dogs are allowed in specially designated “kennel friendly” rooms only.  All pets must be registered at the front desk and must remain under owner supervision at all times.  Dogs are to be leashed on property and placed in a secure kennel if left alone in the suite.  It is the guest’s responsibility to clean up after their pet and ensure resort amenities, including furniture, are not used by pets at any time. 


Spa and Fitness Policy

To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests we ask that all guests abide by the spa and fitness guidelines.

  • For health and safety reasons pregnant women, children under the age of 16 and people with high blood pressure must not use the mineral bath, steam bath or sauna.
  • Due to the shallow depth of the pool, diving and jumping is prohibited.
  • Glass containers and outside music are not to be used in the spa area.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • The pool can accommodate a maximum of 20 people at one time.

Meeting Rooms & Conference Booking Policy

  • A non-refundable 10% deposit (including HST)  is required to secure all meeting room and conference bookings.  This includes guest suites, catering, and recreational activity reservations.
  • All catering orders must be confirmed 7 days in advance.  
  • Any cancellations within 72 hours of service will be subject to the full charge plus tax.  Additions to catering order after 72 hours may require an alternate menu.
  • Outside food and beverage is prohibited in the conference rooms.
  • No alcohol is to be consumed in common areas of the resort.
  • Resort amenities may be availed of at an additional charge.


Group Policy

We make it our first concern to ensure everyone’s stay is enjoyable and pleasant. In doing so, we ask groups coming to our Resort to abide by the following guidelines:

  • The supervisor that has signed the group booking agreement is responsible for the conduct of the group and will be advised by the General Manager of any problem; he/she will be responsible to correct the problem immediately. If the supervisor cannot be located the individuals in the room will be contacted.
  • Any type of horseplay or sporting activity in the lobby, halls, guest rooms, or any other public area of the Resort at any time is prohibited.
  • Guest rooms must remain closed at all times.
  • There is an 11:00PM quiet time which requires all children (under the age of 18) to be in their rooms by this time and restricts all noise.
  • Volume of the in-room televisions and radios must be kept low enough that it cannot be heard in the corridors or adjacent guest rooms.
  • Reasonable noise – as determined by other guests – will be permitted; however, all excess noise during any hour of the day will not be tolerated.
  • Consumption of alcohol is confined to the premises of Resort registries. Consumption of alcohol in any public areas of the Resort not governed by a liquor license is prohibited.
  • The individual(s) registered for the guest room will be liable for all damages that occur, including damages suffered by the Resort as a result of noise or disturbance to other guests.
  • The maximum capacity of the pool at one time is 20 persons.
  • Children under 16 are not permitted to use the steam room, sauna, mineral bath, or exercise equipment (fitness center). This is for the protection of the child.
  • Individuals using the pool must be attired in proper swim apparel.
  • A ratio of at least 1 adult to 4 youth (under the age of 16) is required to supervise/accompany youth in the pool area.
  • We offer a 100% Smoke Free environment for our guests in all rooms, including all balconies. A $200 environmental cleaning fee will be assessed to each guest room requiring cleaning due to smoking.

  

General Resort Policy

To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests we ask that all guests abide by the spa and fitness guidelines.

  • Consumption of alcohol is confined to the premises of Resort registries. Consumption of alcohol in any public areas of the Resort not governed by a liquor license is prohibited.
  • We offer a 100% Smoke Free environment for our guests in all rooms, including all balconies.
  • There is an 11:00PM quiet time which requires all children (under the age of 18) to be in their rooms by this time and restricts all noise.
  • Those not complying with the above conditions will be subject to eviction, without refund, at the General Manager’s discretion.
  • The Resort holds the right to call upon local authorities to enforce these policies and any other incidents that may require their attention.
  • Please be advised that many of these policies are in keeping with the laws and regulations by which the hospitality industry is governed.
